Here are some great safety cleaning ideas for you and your loved ones.

Cleaning Safety Tips

  • Never mix chemicals together. Many mixed chemicals can create a toxic aroma.
  • Put anti-slip strips on the back of your rugs.
  • Always wear rubber gloves to avoid possible chemical burns.
  • After you are finished using chemicals, store them somewhere where children and pets cannot get to them.
  • Always ventilate the room while you are cleaning.
  • Remove anything on the floors before climbing on ladders to prevent slips or falls.
  • Check ladders before using them to ensure they are stable.
  • Check any big or bulky furniture to ensure they wont tip over.
  • Test all smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors.
  • Disconnect appliances before cleaning them.
  • Remove or shorten blind cords so children cannot reach them.
  • Move furniture away from windows. Kids love to climb on furniture.
  • Always supervise children when you are using lawnmowers or power tools.

Enjoy your clean home!
